Rosette Nebula
The Rosette Nebula is a large, circular stae forming region located near one end of a giant molecular cloud in the bonstellation Monoceros. The nebula lie at a distance of ~ 5,200 light years (?) and measure ~ 130 light years in diameter. Taken with a Tak FSQ-106, SBIG STL-11000 on a Paramount. Single 30-min exposure using the Tzec Maun scope in Australia.
