The Bubble Nebula
The bubble nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia was taken with an Astro-Physics 130 f/8 refractor and an SBIG ST2000xcm camera (cooled to –20o C) on an Astro-Physics 1200 mount. The total exposure time was 10 hrs 5 min (121 x 5 min lights; 33 darks; 64 flats) and the images calibrated, registered, combined and processed in PixInsight 1.8 with final adjustments in Images Plus 5.0 and Adobe Photoshop CC.
